Dear Ülle,
ReplyDeleteThank you from adding me to your blog. I am glad because we start learning English more practical way. This way of learning English, I hope, would certainly improve my language skills. Bring out some of my expectations as regards blog.
At first, I would like to say that I am trying to read the newspaper as much as possible, and I thought to write down all the important key words. Why not even new words and entertaining phrases!
Secondly, In my opinion blog should also be links to video clips, which help to develop language skills or to teach grammar. Videos teach grammar in practise. For example if I do not remember what is most important rules of writing academic letters, then I can always click on the video clip and remind myself the rules.
Finally, I hope we are all active bloggers and help each other to learn English. I already look forward to an exciting writings. I believe that I shall become bolder and my confidence is growing when I speak in English.
Best wishes,
Liisi

DeleteDear Liisi,
DeleteThank you for the reply. It took you so long to reply, didn't it? Do you know the saying that the early bird catches the worm? Do you? According to the dictionary, it is used to say that if you do something early or before other people, you will be successful. To be honest, it is a pleasure to work with you.
Liisi, you are right, this is a more practical way to learn English. It certainly will improve your writing skill and thus, will help to gain a better result at your final examination. In addition, it is a great idea to write down important key words, unknown words and essential phrases while reading the popular press, I mean the Mirror. At last, I will definitely add the links to the rules that support grammar.
Kindest regards,
Ülle Lepp .
Dear Ülle ,
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late response, but I really wanted to take a break from all the schoolwork and charge by batteries before the new half-semester.
Nevertheless I tried to incorporate some english to every day of the holidays by reading books and watching films in English. Not to mention listening to music and reading daily newspapers.
I strongly believe this blog helps all of us to evolve our english skills, so we can get the best results from the final examination.
I also hope that these tasks and postings will be usesful not just for the exam, but also in the future, because language skills are really important in terms of travelling and getting a good job.

Dear teacher Ülle and classmates,
ReplyDeleteI am thankful to you for inviting me to our private class blog. As well I apologize for replying to your post so late, I understand it is highly inappropriate and undutiful. I hope your anger does not last long.
At first I would like to point out the magnificent idea of yours - to create our own class blog. It surely differs from our previous learning methods and brings variety to English lessons.
Secondly I want to bring out some hopes and opinions about our class blog. I would like to present them as a list:
1) I hope this blog helps us, twelfths, extend our knowledge about English language and maybe a little bit of England culture, too.
2) Through this blog I am hoping to get to know my cobloggers (classmates) better and be helpful if needed. Also I would like to do as much group work as possible.
3) I agree with my classmate Liisi - there should be instructive videolinks in this blog. Watching videos will certainly help to learn grammar and remind us for example most imprortant rules in English language.
4) In my opinion it would be exciting if you, as our English teacher paste here e.g. previous writings from your schooldays (the time you went to high school or university).
Last but not least - I hope we all are kind and pleasant for each other and would not undervalue anybody. In addition I expect us to be hard-working and as envolving as possible. I am sure we all will impress our English teacher one way or another. I look forward to work with each one of you!
Yours Sincerely,
Sigrid Kivilo

Dear Ülle and other co-authors,
ReplyDeleteThank you for inviting me to this given blog. It is marvelous to see you approach to studying differently than other teachers. Although it is new and compelling, I can not see myself getting fond of this kind of tutoring. I am not saying that it is atrocious, it is just that I personally prefer earlier era studying over digital education.
All in all, you gotta do what you gotta do, even if it seems unpleasant since experiences enrich us. Even if it does not improve my final examination result, it sure does broaden my horizons. And who knows, maybe I will grow fond of blogging after a while.
Best wishes,
Marius
Dear teacher!

Dear Ülle and classmates,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all huge thanks for inviting me to the blog. I am sure it is truly helpful for learning more English and getting ready for our upcoming exam.
It is nice seeing and reading more and more real English and I hope that through this blog I can practice my English consistently. I am sure that this blog will be a help for our future also, because of the practical works we will do. Hopefully writing and thinking in English will come more smoothly and automatically after a while.
I am excited to get this blog starting.
Best wishes,
Kaidi
Dear Ülle,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your invitation and greetings to all of you, who has joined the blog!
To be honest, I am not thrilled about this kind of learning, because I would like to execute exercises and tasks by communicating with real people in real life not through the internet. Maybe I am being too old-school, but in my opinion working mostly in internet is not the most compelling way of studing.
Nevertheless I do not think, that it is completely useless. Doing things that are not among on your favourites can be extremely valuable in some other way, that you can not even think of. Who knows, maybe it turns out to be my favourite homework during the year, but right now I am a little bit skeptical about this.
I hope that reading the newspaper turns out to be useful for all of us. I also believe that these writing tasks we have to do are good practise for the examination.
Best wishes,
Mariann
Dear Ülle,
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for invitation to follow your blog, what is preparing 12 form for examination. Also I want to send my greetings for other co-authors, hopefully we all enjoy reading each other writings.
First of all, I would like to bespeak some thoughts what pop into my head. Whatever, i couldn`t care less and so on, but when i took a second look my train of thought had changed.
In a future school all learning goes through practical experience, what has applyed through vital foreknowledge. This kind of school is not functioning yet. I think that this way we can stay abreast of development stage. What do you think? Pleasant reading http://www.inspiratsioon.ee/oppimine-tuleviku-koolis/
Backwards to English learning. The newspaper reading idea is quite handy- the more we read the wider our mind become. In addition, all theoretical knowledge fix in the memory with practical work, such as making videos.
Anyhow i hope for the best to this blog will go like a clockwork. I keep my fingers crossed, that we all gain auspicious results in our final examination.
Best wishes,
Nadežda
Dear Ülle,
ReplyDeleteI am very thankful for the invitation and I want to sent greetings to all who has also joined the blog. First of all I belive it is a very good opportunity to improve our English with this writing and I hope that our result will get better. Second of all,I belive reading the newspapers helps us with reading but also gives us more knowledge. It may happen that turning the examination we need to talk about exactly what we have read in the newspaper or something similar.
I hope the best for everyone!
Best wishes,
Annika
